Fulfilling your role of Parent as Teacher requires love, skill and

You correctly realize that you are their teacher...and not just any teacher...you are their most important teacher...more important than any other teacher they will ever have. The quality of experience you provide for your child will determine how well they achieve their potential as an adult...that's pretty important, isn't it? For you to be the best teacher you can be, preparation is essential. And that s where Parents as Teachers (PAT) can help you. Parents as Teachers (PAT)is an early childhood parent education and family support program. It serves families throughout pregnancy until their child enters kindergarten, usually age 5.
